PECAN PIE BARS 
CRUST:

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp. brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix flour, butter and brown sugar together. Pat into bottom of baking dish. Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes.

FILLING:

2 eggs
1/2 cup white corn syrup (Karo)
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

Mix ingredients together and spread over first layer. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes more.
