TANGY BARBECUE SAUCE 
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. catsup
1/3 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper

Saute onion in butter in a medium saucepan until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes. Use as a basting sauce for grilled beef, pork, or chicken. Yield: 1 1/4 cups.
