FANNY FARMER FUDGE | |
1 stick or 1/4 lb. butter 1/4 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped nuts 2 1/4 c. sugar 9 oz. or 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips 16 lg. marshmallows, quartered 1/2 can evaporated milk Place butter, chips, vanilla, marshmallows, and nuts in a large bowl and set aside. In a heavy saucepan, put 1/2 can of evaporated milk and sugar. Boil 8 minutes, stirring constantly. Then remove from heat and pour over ingredients in large bowl. Mix well until marshmallows melt. Pour into an ungreased pan. Chill for a full 2 hours. Makes 2 1/2 pounds fudge. |
