SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
11 crackers, crushed
1/3 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt (or powder
Pepper
1/3 - 1/2 c. flour
2 cans consomme soup
2 c. water
1 - 1 1/2 c. wine (red or white)

Mix first 6 ingredients and form into 1" to 1 1/2" balls. Roll in flour. Brown slowly in pan sprayed with Pam. Drain all but 2 tablespoons fat. Stir in flour. Stir to cover the warm brown balls. Add soup, water and wine. Cover (put toothpick under lid of pan). Simmer 1 1/2 hours. Watch! It boils over easily. Serve over rice.
