SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
3 to 5 lbs. ground beef
1 pkg. saltines (sleeve)
Pepper
Salt (if desired)
1 (16 oz.) jar grape jelly
1 sm. bottle ketchup
1 pkg. dried onion soup mix

Mix meat, saltines, salt, and pepper. Add a little water. Wet hands and form into tiny balls. Simmer grape jelly, ketchup (clean out bottle with a little water), and onion soup mix until jelly melts. Add meatballs and simmer 40 to 45 minutes. Yields: 2 quarts. Freezes well. Make larger balls and cook 1 hour.
