NUTT HOUSE BUTTERMILK PIE 
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. allspice
Dash of nutmeg and/or vanilla and/or lemon extract
1 (9") unbaked pie shell

Sprinkle allspice on the bottom of uncooked pie shell. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and flour and beat until fluffy. Fold in buttermilk and vanilla; a dash of nutmeg or extract. (At the Nutt House, nutmeg is used.) Pour into pie shell and bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350 degrees or until golden brown. Delicious warm or cold.
