GOLDEN APPLE BOSTON BREAD 
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. honey
1/3 c. molasses
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/2 c. rye flour
1 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk
2 c. coarsely chopped Golden apples

Cream butter; add honey and molasses. Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Stir in apples; spoon into loaf pans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing. Makes 2 loaves.
