ABBIE'S SHEPHERDS PIE 
Recipe can be cut in half for one pie, however its such a great comfort food everyone seems to enjoy, why not share it!? God Bless, Abbie : )

2 lb. lean ground beef
2 cloves garlic
1 small red onion
2 pkgs. brown gravy mix (McCormick's, etc.)
1 small bag frozen peas & carrots
8 potatoes
1 pkg. frozen pie shells (Pillsbury)

Peel, boil and mash potatoes. Add butter, milk, salt and pepper to taste.

Brown meat in large skillet, drain fat. Once drained return to skillet add pressed or minced garlic cloves, diced red onion, salt and pepper to taste. Once completely cooked set aside.

Prepare and bake both frozen pie shells according to directions on package (about 10 to 12 minutes baking time). Set aside.

In small pot or saucepan prepare and cook 2 packages of brown gravy mix. Once cooked add to meat.

Add meat mixture to pie shells, frost with mashed potatoes.

Bake in 400°F oven for about 5 minutes browning mashed potatoes just a tad.

Finally, top with cooked and seasoned (salt, pepper, butter) peas and carrots. Enjoy!
