SWEET PICKLES 
7 lb. cucumbers, sliced
2 gallons water
2 c. lime
2 qt. vinegar
6 1/2 c. white sugar
2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. pickling spice

Slice cucumbers. Cover with 2 gallons water with 2 cups lime added. Let set for 24 hours. Wash thoroughly with cold water. Let set in cold water for 3 hours; drain well. Mix all the 5 ingredients, then pour over the pickles and set overnight. Next morning bring to a boil and cook 30 minutes. Pour into jars and process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
