CHOCOLATE CHIP OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. Crisco
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Nuts (walnuts, etc.)

Cream Crisco and sugars together. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Mix well and add dry ingredients and chips and nuts. Spoon batter onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 9 to 10 minutes. Do not overbake.
