SAUSAGE AND EGG CASSEROLE | |
3/4 lb. bulk pork sausage 10 eggs 1 c. milk 3/4 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 1/2 c. packaged croutons (garlic or onion) Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat. Drain off fat. Put sausage in a greased 2-quart casserole dish. In a large bowl beat the eggs; stir in the milk, salt, and cheese. Pour egg mixture over sausage. Sprinkle with croutons. Bake, uncovered, for 45-50 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving. |
