HOBO BREAD 
2 1/2 c. boiling water
3 tsp. baking soda
2 c. raisins
1 c. white sugar
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
4 c. flour

Grease 3 (1 lb.) coffee cans, or you can use soup cans. Boil the water and add the baking soda to it. Then add the raisins. Stir. Let set for 2 hours or overnight. Mix in the sugars, nuts, and the flour. Pour into prepared cans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done. Let set for 15 minutes, then remove from the cans. Slice to serve.

NOTE: Wrap in foil to freeze. Store in airtight container. This bread is a nice moist bread. Serves 24.
