COUNTRY MEAT PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 c. cooked rice
1/2 c. grated cheese

Mix first 6 ingredients. Add 1/2 can tomato sauce. Spread into a 10 inch pie pan forming a meat shell. Mix rice and remaining tomato sauce, pour into meat shell. Sprinkle top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Serves 6.
