CHICKEN SPAGHETTI | |
1 (5 lb.) chicken 1 can pimento, chopped 1 sm. onion, chopped (may be added) 1/2 lb. cheese Salt and pepper to taste 1 bell pepper, chopped 1 c. celery, chopped 18 stuffed olives, cut 1 lb. spaghetti (long thing) 1 (6 or 8 oz.) can mushrooms, chopped (may be ends and stems) Boil chicken until tender, cool and cut in pieces about an inch in size. These should be about 2 quarts of chicken broth. Add to the broth the chopped pepper, mushrooms, celery, olives, pimento and onion (if used) and cook 10 minutes. Now add the spaghetti and cook until done - fold in chicken and place in baking dish (use a 9 x 12 inch size) top with cheese and cook in oven about 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
