SUGAR GEM COOKIES 
2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. oil
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
9 c. flour
2 c. white sugar
1 lb. butter
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cream of tartar

Cream sugar, butter and oil until light and fluffy. Beat eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Use size 40 ice cream scoop or make round balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Press down with a glass. Bake 350 degrees for 12 or 15 minutes.
