CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 box Devil's Food cake mix
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract
1 can cherry pie filling

Beat eggs with mixer. Add almond extract and cherry pie filling by hand. Stir in cake mix, being careful not to crush cherries. Batter will be thick. (You may add 2 tablespoons milk to batter if so desired.) Spread in 9x13 cake pan which has been greased and floured. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

TOPPING:

3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 stick butter
2 c. XXX sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

In mixer beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla. Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until it becomes smooth. Frost cake.
