CRISPY PEANUT BUTTER BARS 
8 tbsp. butter
6 c. miniature marshmallows
8 c. Rice Krispies cereal
3/4 c. syrup
3/4 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. white sugar

Melt the butter and marshmallows. Add cereal. Press into buttered 15x10 inch pan. Let cool.

Dissolve, but don't boil, the syrup, peanut butter and sugar. Spread this mixture over the bars.

FOR FROSTING:

Combine:

1 1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. milk
6 tbsp. butter

Combine in pan and bring to full, rolling boil. Boil 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add:

2/3 c. chocolate chips

Stir until chips are dissolved and mixture is consistency of frosting. Spread over bars.
