CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER CRISPY
RICE BARS
 
1/4 c. butter
1 (10 oz.) pkg. 40 regular or (4 c.) miniature marshmallows
6 c. chocolate flavored rice cereal
1 c. peanut butter chips

Grease 13 x 9 inch pan. In large saucepan melt butter and marshmallows over low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in cereal, peanut butter chips until well coated. Press mixture into greased pan. Cool, cut into bars. Makes 36 bars.

These turned out great. Use the microwave instead of stove top to melt marshmallows, butter and I added chunky peanut butter. Approx 45 seconds. stir and add cereal. Then using sandwich bags on my hands, formed a ball and smoothed into a glass baking dish. I also used wax paper on the bottom of the baking dish.
