ORDINARY CORN | |
3 eggs, beaten 1/2 c. melted butter 1/2 c. maple syrup 1 (16 oz.) can cream style corn Salt and coarse ground pepper to taste Mix all ingredients together and pour into a buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 50 to 55 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. This recipe is originally from Wiggins Tavern in Northampton. It was called an "ordinary" in olden days". It has become a Thanksgiving tradition at our house. |
