ANGEL BISCUITS 
2 tbsp. lukewarm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
5 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. baking powder
4 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Sift flour, soda, powder, sugar and salt together. Cut shortening into flour mixture with pastry blender. Add yeast mixture and buttermilk. Stir until flour is dampened. Knead 1 to 2 minutes. Put in refrigerator overnight. When ready to cook, pinch off what is needed, roll and cut. Place in warm area for 20 to 25 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown.
