CRABMEAT CASSEROLE | |
1/2 c. butter 1/3 c. flour 1 1/3 c. milk 6-10 oz. crabmeat, fresh or canned (I sometimes use "copy crab") 2 c. chopped celery 2 green peppers 2 hard boiled eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. sharp cheese Melt butter in saucepan; add flour and mix. Slowly add milk and cheese. Cook until sauce thickens. Add remaining ingredients. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Serves 6. |
