GERMAN KUCHEN DOUGH 
3 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. salt
3/4 c. oil
2 pkg. yeast
9 1/2 c. flour
3 eggs

Mix and let set 1/2 hour. Let rise; knead and let rise again. Roll dough to fit pie pans. Put fruit and 1/3 custard in each shell. Mix sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over top. Bake at 375 degrees.

CUSTARD:

1 qt. cream
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix well. Makes about 15 kuchens.
