GERMAN RED CABBAGE 
4 slices bacon, chopped
1/4 c. onions, chopped
6 tsp. brown sugar
3 tsp. vinegar
4 c. shredded cabbage

Fry bacon, add onion, saute slightly. Add brown sugar and vinegar, add cabbage and simmer over low heat 20 minutes.
