FRENCH GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. sour cream
4 c. (2 cans) French green beans, drained
1/2 lb. grated cheese
1/2 c. corn flake crumbs
2 tbsp. melted butter

Melt butter; stir in onions, then flour, salt, pepper and sugar. Add sour cream gradually. Stir constantly until thickened. Fold in beans and heat. Pour into greased casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese over top. Combine crumbs and melted butter and put on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
