GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
2 cans French cut green beans
1 can shoe peg corn, white
1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
2 tubes crushed Ritz crackers
Salt and pepper

In large casserole dish, layer green beans, corn, soup and cheese, sliced. ( For best results, allow to sit overnight in refrigerator, but this is not necessary, just adds flavor).

Add salt, pepper, 2 tbsp of butter and crushed crackers. Cover top of dish with foil. Cook at 325 degrees in oven for 30 minutes. Remove foil add 1 tablespoon butter to top and cook, uncovered at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
