RUTH'S WEDDING AND SHOWER PUNCH 
6 c. sugar
6 c. water
2 qts. fresh grapefruit juice
1 qt. white grape juice
6 qts. 7-Up
1 block of ice or crushed ice or ice ring

Make a syrup with sugar and water - cool. Mix with grapefruit juice and grape juice. Cool. Pour over ice. Add 7-Up just before serving. (Makes a clear color punch). Serves 60 to 80 punch cups.

This punch can be made with any colored juice, or color with cake coloring. You can add apple, pineapple, or cranberry juice, depending on the color you want.
