TANDY KAKES 
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
6 to 8 oz. peanut butter
8 oz. Hershey's bar

Scald 1 cup milk plus 2 tablespoons butter. Let cool. In a bowl put eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla, baking powder. Beat together. Add milk. (Batter will be thin). Pour batter into a greased and floured pan (a cookie sheet with sides). Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. When done, immediately spread a thin layer of peanut butter over cake. Refrigerate until hard. Melt chocolate bar in double boiler. Spread melted chocolate over peanut butter. Cut into squares while soft or the chocolate will crack.
