SWEDISH FRUIT CAKE 
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 can tomato soup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. clove
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. mixed fruit (optional)

Cream the sugar and butter until well mixed. Add tomato soup and stir well. Then add the above spices and baking powder and mix. Add the flour, stir well, then add the baking soda mixed with a little hot water. Add your mixed fruit, raisins and nuts. Bake in a 350 degree oven about 45 minutes. Cake is done when tester comes out clean. Remove from pan and set on wire rack.
