BLUEBERRY SPICE CAKE 
3 c. all purpose flour
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. boiling water
1 c. molasses
1 c. of blueberries

Sift dry ingredients. Add blueberries. Stir lightly, covering berries with dry mixture. Melt shortening in water. Add molasses and sugar. Stir berries, dry mixture into shortening and molasses-sugar mixture. Pour into medium sized well greased pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.
