TERUYAKI 
1 lb. cubed beef, chicken, veal or lamb

SAUCE:

1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. sherry
3 cloves garlic, crushed
3 slices ginger root, crushed
1/4 c. brown sugar

Combine ingredients for sauce and mix well; marinate beef, chicken, veal or lamb in sauce at least 2 hours. Place on split bamboo sticks. Dribble with peanut oil. Charcoal or oven broil.
