1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda in about 1/2 c. hot water
4 c. flour
1 box raisins
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix in order and drop by teaspoon on buttered pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
