1 c. oil
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 c. all purpose flour, sifted
2 1/2 c. cubed cooking apples
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat together oil, eggs, sugar and flour until well combined. Add apples, soda, salt and nuts, beating well. Pour mixture into greased baking pan, 13"x11"x2". Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Cool in pan. Serve in squares cut from pan.
