FANCY FRENCH TOAST 
1 loaf unsliced white bread
Fresh strawberries, slices
1/4 c. milk
3 eggs
Cinnamon sugar

Trim crust from ends of bread that is a day or two old. Cut the loaf in four equal parts. Cut a pocket in each quarter and stuff with 6-8 slices of strawberries.

Mix eggs and milk. A mixture of 3 eggs to 1/4 cup milk will coagulate quickly and seal the area around the bread, allowing a minimum of grease absorption.

Dip bread in egg/milk mixture and fry in butter. When golden brown remove from pan, pat dry and dredge in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Serve immediately with a few slices of strawberries in top. Serves 4.
