ENGLISH TEA CAKES 
1/4 c. butter, creamed
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 eggs
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 1/4 tsp. lemon extract

Mix the ingredients alternately until you have a smooth mixture. Bake in cupcake pans for 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Great for breakfast served with butter or jam or jelly.
