ENGLISH TEA CAKES 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
2/3 c. chopped walnuts

Cream butter, sugar, and egg yolk. Add vanilla and salt. Mix in flour. Spread in jelly roll pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Spread melted chocolate chips on top then sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
