COLD BEAN SALAD 
1 can sm. butter beans
1 can French style beans
1 can garden peas (sm.)
1 can shoe peg corn
1 green pepper, cut up
3 stalks celery
1 purple onion
1 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar

Drain liquid from vegetables. Combine 1 cup oil, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup vinegar. Pour over vegetables. Let marinate overnight. Drain liquid. Serve. Note: reserve liquid for left overs.
