BASIC HERB SEASONING MIX | |
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 tbsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. ground or dried leaf basil 1 tsp. ground or dried leaf marjoram 1 tsp. ground or dried leaf thyme 1 tsp. dried parsley flakes 1 tsp. ground or dried leaf savory 1 tsp. ground mace 1 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. finely ground black pepper 1 tsp. ground (rubbed) sage Grind herbs in blender before adding to mixture. In small bowl, combine all ingredients. Blend well. Transfer to salt shaker. Yield: 1/4 cup. Contains less than 1 mg sodium per 1/2 teaspoon. |
