GERMAN CHOCOLATE COOKIES 
2 pkgs. German chocolate
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. baking soda

Melt chocolate and butter over hot water. Stir and cool. Beat eggs until foamy; add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time. Beat until thickened, 5 minutes with an electric mixer. Pour chocolate in egg mixture. Add flour mixture; stir in vanilla. Add 3/4 cup nuts, if desired. Drop by spoonfuls (teaspoons). Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.

Flour mixture: Flour, soda, baking powder, and cinnamon.
