WALT WOOD'S BARBECUE SAUCE | |
2 c. catsup 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce 3 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 c. honey 1/4 c. brown sugar 2 tbsp. liquid smoke 1 tsp. Chinese sesame oil 1 tbsp. Lawry's salt 1 tsp. herb seasoning (or fines herbs) 1/4 c. dry white wine 3 cloves garlic, crushed 1/4 c. olive oil 1 tbsp. hot sauce (3 for very HOT) 1/4 c. pineapple juice 1 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. black pepper (med. grind) Combine all ingredients and simmer to the consistency of catsup, about an hour or so. Makes a large amount, freeze some for later use. Good on chicken drumettes. Pat. pending, all rights reserved. |
