DEEP DISH MEXICAN PIE 
1 deep dish pie shell
1 can refried beans
1/2 c. picante sauce
Tostitos
Tomatoes
Sour cream
1 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. taco seasoning
2 c. grated cheese
1 can green chilies
Olives
Picante

Make a 10 inch pie shell and bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Brown meat, add taco seasoning as directed on package. Mix beans and picante sauce. Spread 1/2 bean mixture in bottom of pie shell; spread 1/2 of meat on top of beans; add layer of 1 cup grated cheese and layer of crushed tostitos. Repeat layers except chips. Make circle on outside edge of pie with chopped green chilies. Bake 20 to 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Let pie cool for 5 to 10 minutes for easier serving. Make circles of chopped tomatoes, olives and sour cream, if desired. Additional picante sauce may be added after serving. Freezes well.
