CURRIED PORK CHOPS 
6 pork chops
1/3 c. flour
1 tbsp. fat or oil
3 c. sliced mushrooms
1/3 c. chopped onions
2 tbsp. butter
1 3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. curry powder
1 3/4 c. milk

Coat chops with flour. Set aside any remaining flour. Brown chops on both sides in fat in an oven proof skillet. Remove pan from heat and pour off fat. Cover chops with mushrooms. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook onion in butter until golden brown. Stir remaining flour and seasonings and add milk slowly. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Pour over chops. Bake covered for 1 hour.
