BEST EVER CAKE 
10 1/2 x 14 1/2 inch pan
Yellow cake mix
Vanilla instant pudding (2 lg. or 4 sm.)
1 can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
Dream Whip or Cool Whip
Coconut, shaved chocolate bar or nuts (opt.)

Boil crushed pineapple and sugar together. Bake cake as directed on package. While still warm, poke holes in cake with handle of wooden spoon and pour boiled pineapple and sugar mixture over cake and cool. Prepare instant pudding as directed on box and spread on top of cooled cake. Spread a layer of Cool Whip or Dream Whip on top of pudding layer. Sprinkle coconut, shaved chocolate bar and nuts on top. Refrigerate.
