PUMPKIN COOKIES WITH CREAM
CHEESE FROSTING
 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 c. canned pumpkin
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Cream cheese frosting

Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda, and nutmeg. Set aside. In large bowl beat butter for 1 minute. Add sugar and brown sugar. Beat until fluffy. Add egg, pumpkin and vanilla, beat well. Add dry ingredients mix well. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Drop by teaspoons 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting. Garnish with chopped nuts. Makes 2 dozen.
