COCONUT BALLS 
1/2 c. butter
1 pkg. pitted dates
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. milk
1 beaten egg

Mix above and cook for 2 minutes. Add and mix 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, nuts if desired, and 3 1/2 cups Rice Krispies. Cool and make into balls. Roll in coconut.
