GRANDMA DERICKSON'S HARD APPLE
PIE
 
5 apples, peeled and sliced
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter
1 cup milk
1 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 375°F. Peel and slice apples and put them into a 8x8-inch pan.

Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Melt butter and combine with wet ingredients in a large sized bowl. Mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredient bowl. Stir until smooth. When smooth pour into the pan of apples.

Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes or until firm.

Serves 9 people. Enjoy!
