UKRAINIAN APPLE PIE 
Fantastic warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

6 apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups raisins
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
6 eggs
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp. butter or oil (for buttering pan)

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Butter the bottom of a medium baking pan or aluminum tray and evenly spread the apple slices. Sprinkle the apples with raisins and cinnamon.

In a large bowl beat eggs with an electric mixer. Gradually add sugar while beating until the mixture becomes white and creamy. Gradually add flour while mixing with the mixer until the mixture becomes viscous but still liquidy without any clumps in it. Pour the mixture over the apples.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
