JAM AND CREAM CHEESE LOAF 
1/2 c. warm water (110-115 degrees)
1 pkg. yeast
2 1/2 c. Bisquick
1 beaten egg
1 tbsp. sugar

In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Stir in biscuit mix, egg, and 1 tablespoon sugar; mix well. Turn on a floured surface and knead gently 20 times. Place dough on greased cookie sheet, roll dough to 14 x 9 inch rectangle.

FILLING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3-1/2 c. white sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. jam or preserves (use your favorite flavor)

In a small bowl mix cream cheese, sugar, and juice. Spread mixture down the center lengthwise. Make 3 inch long cuts at 1 inch intervals on both sides. Fold strips at an angle over filling. Cover, chill overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Spoon jam over top. Bake 5 minutes longer. Cool 10 minutes.

I have never let this sit in the fridge overnight. I cook it as soon as I put it together and then bake it and it turns out perfect every time. Love, Love, Love this recipe, especially when company shows up!
