KRINGLE 
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. sugar
1 c. shortening
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 eggs
1 c. milk

First mix 1 package yeast with 1/2 cup warm water. Set aside. Then beat 2 eggs with 1 cup milk. Set aside, also. Now mix dry ingredients. Cut in 1 cup shortening mix with pastry mixer until well mixed. Then add yeast and milk mixing until ball is formed.

Cover and let raise overnight. Next morning divide in 4 roll out to oblong shape. Fill with fruit of choice, close up and bake at 350 degrees until brown (about 45 minutes). Makes 4 Kringles.
