1 lg. pkg. Oreo cookies
1 gal. peppermint ice cream
Few pieces peppermint candy or candy canes

With rolling pin make crumbs of cookies. Make a half in layer of cookie crumbs, firmly packed, in bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Add a layer of peppermint ice cream. Add another half inch layer of cookie crumbs. Add a second layer of ice cream. Sprinkle a few tablespoons of cookie crumbs over top layer of ice cream to decorate.

Crush peppermint candy and sprinkle over top to decorate, also. Put in freezer until time to serve. Cut in squares to serve.

Note: A miniature candy cane placed on top or inserted in each serving piece adds a Christmas touch.
