SLIM SPAGHETTI PIE 
4 oz. vermicelli
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg, well beaten
Vegetable cooking spray
1/4 lb. ground chuck
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cottage cheese
1/4 c. Mozzarella cheese

Cook vermicelli according to package directions, omitting salt, drain. Stir Parmesan cheese into hot vermicelli. Use spoon to shape vermicelli into a pie shell. Microwave at high, uncovered, 2 minutes or until set. Sprinkle parsley on top. Yield: 6 servings (about 267 calories per serving).

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
